5Must have if you own a Harley

This thing is worth every penny!! The product does exactly what it professes. It took me just over 30 minutes to install on my 2011 Ultra Limited. Everything is clearly marked and the directions are very easy to read and understand. Started it up and took it for a ride and immediately noticed a difference. Smooth acceleration and still some, but not nearly as much backfire. It takes about an hour or so of riding before the tuner starts learning, but the entire time you can feel the performance getting better. First through fourth gears you really notice the increase in power laying on the throttle until you reach about 60 mph. And the smoothness that the bike has now is almost unexplainable. I read as many reviews as I could before purchasing Corbra PowerPro Tuner and one thing that I really noticed that I read in a few reviews is how the bike seems to run cooler. I'm mean to tell you my bike runs much cooler. I don't know if I would go as far to say half of cool b ut it's close. All I can say is this.....until you install one of these on your Harley you really haven't experienced how it is supposed to run. Guess I should mention I have Cobra slip on tri-oval mufflers and a screaming eagle air cleaner. And yes, I had the bike on the dyno at my local Harley dealer and it cost me $250.00 not to mention the Screaming Eagle tuner is $300 bucks. I paid $430 for the PowerPro from Amazon...you do the math. Now the only thing that kind of pissed me off about all of this is that when you buy a Harley that runs you $25k I started thinking to myself while I was riding is why couldn't Harley design something like this and install it right from the factory?.....oh yea.....HD....hunting for your dough! And what's even better is that now if I make any changes to my bike, I don't have to take it to the dealer for a dyno. I truly cannot think of enough good things to say about this product.

UPDATE: I installed a Screaming Eagle Heavy Bre ather back in October and the Cobra dialed the new filter in just like it is designed to. The power increase in sixth gear from 60 to 80 mph is very noticeable. I really don't think I can get any more power unless I start spending a lot of money and start upgrading internal engine parts.

One thing that has happened twice since I installed the SE Heavy breather is that in 5th or Sixth gear I would notice some hesitation in the throttle kind of like a stuttering/hesitation so I killed the power and when I restarted it was fine so my guess is I may of had some type of voltage irregularity that caused the Cobra tuner to misbehave, because the one time it happened was when my right front (yellow) bulb burnt out. And the other time I was on the freeway so I just killed the power and turned it back on while I was rolling at it was fine. Strangely, I didn't notice any sputtering in 1st through fourth gears.

And on somewhat of a side note that is related more to the SE Heavy Breather is that when I had a SE oval type filer installed oil would puke from the carb and soak the bottom of the filter with oil (I read this is not uncommon with upgraded pipes and filter) between 60 and 80 mph, and on a long trip the oil would drip all over the right side of the engine and on the pipe which drove me crazy because I had to clean the filter (K&N) almost every other week. Once I installed the SE Heavy breather no more oil leaking! I am burning slightly more fuel but with the increase in power and lack of oil leaking the "SE Heavy Breather" was worth every penny.

In conclusion, if I spent $430 bucks for the Cobra fuel tuner and $300 bucks for the heavy breather to start with I would have spent nearly the same as I did for the Screaming Eagle tuner and dyno, but this is my first Harley so I'm learning the hard (expensive) way.

I reviewed a lot of options including the Power Commander and the offerings from Harley. This product does it all. Auto tuning and both performance enhancement. Easy installation and love the effect it had on the bike. Installed on a 2011 Street Glide with the 103.

When I received this product I opened it and went to install, installation took about 1/2 hour. It say's to take the 2 back bolt off the fuel tank and loosen the front 2 and tilt the tank up. Well my fat hands didn't fit so I took the tank off and had the son hold it while I made the connection to the injectors. put the tank back on I ran the wire to the O2 sensors and made the connection. The instructions said to turn on the ignition and check that the light on the unit flashed, and it did. I then started up the bike and within a minute it changed to a much smoother and better sounding motor, I have a 2011 Road glide Ultra. put the seat back on and took it for a ride, the popping was almost eliminated and the power was very much smoother, it took about a couple weeks for it to get fully adjusted, but it's runs great will adapt to any changes I make in the future. The only down side is it takes a couple rotations of the motor to start. my mileage dropped from about 40 mpg to 35 and now is back up to 39 it should come back and maybe a little better, I believe the mileage drop is due to the much better drivablity of the bike and now I'm settling back into a normal riding pattern and not hotrodding every where I go. I am very happy with this tuner .
