Perfect loudness and performance

My wife had cheap, lightly baffled slip-ons on her 2009 Sportster 1200c. Super loud, too open with plenty of deceleration back-fire. She loved being heard in traffic and able to set off car alarms, but wanted a quieter, neighborhood-friendly set of pipes. After researching I landed on the V&H's Q-Series. Great pipes, great sound! Much louder than stock, but doesn't shake the pictures on the neighbors walls.

Installation was fairly straight forward if you are used to doing a little round file filing or oversizing a whole slightly to get the line-up of the main mounting bracket to line up with the engine case holes. Minor if you are used to wrenching. Don't forget to get new exhaust gaskets!

Loudness is very subjective, but was perfect for us. Engine runs smoother and better torque with less vibration. Highly recommend these pipes.
