The vstream mounted easily on my 650 Vstrom and works well for me on the lowest position as I am 5ft 8" tall. I can see over the top when sitting straight or I can completely hide behind it. The windshield really improves the buffeting. The pictured windshield with the cut outs for the mirrors is not the windshield they send to you. They send N20213 and the mirrors hit at full turn no matter how I adjust them. There are hidden shipping costs and had to pay 29$ more at the door here east of Toronto on top of a 59$ initial charge. Better companies show a to the door cost up front and I suggest you go with them to reduce overall cost. Mounting and function of the Vstream windshield N20213 that they sent is great except remembering to hold short on full slow turns. Wind noise better. I can now ride with the visor up and just sun glasses. I'm hoping my wife's ride as passenger is improved too. I think it will.

Bigger than it looks and not too rigid

The windshield is quite a bit taller than it looks in the picture, even at the lowest position I wish it was an inch shorter, but that is because I like to look over the windshield, not through it. Another issue with the shield is that it vibrates. Perhaps, it could have been made a little thicker without driving the cost too high up, but I'm not a windshield engineer. The vibrating edge is a little distracting, but I suppose I will get used to it.
Otherwise, the windshield serves its purpose very well; annoying wind noise, which is a feature of the stock v-strom windshield, is a thing of the past, I can finally hear the engine.
