I didn't know they could be this comfortable

I put this seat on my 2006 883L. It replaced the mighty stiff and uncomfortable stock solo seat. Installation was easy, it comes with a nut insert in case your bike doesn't have the fender nuts in place (mine did). Since I didn't need to thread that, it was a 2-minute install.

The seat padding is nice and firm, but because of the shape of the seat, it's way, way more comfortable. Nice wide seating position, with a pocket tuck towards the back to keep pressure off the tailbone. The back of the seat provides a bit of back support, and something to push against on acceleration.

The cover is good quality black leather, and the braiding on the edge is unobtrusive and not flashy. It's a good-looking seat.

I just can't get over how comfortable this seat is, it's wonderful.

Way better than the stock seat!

Night and day in comparison to the stock seat. Takes a few days to break in and really get comfortable, but once it does, you may view it as the best upgrade you have ever made to your bike. I also think it looks way better than the stock seat. Really let's the lines of the bike shine through.

Mustang seat on nightster

I got the seat for my 2008 Nightster. Puts you back and up a few inches, which is great for me since I'm a little tall. Much more comfortable than the stock seat, even right out the box in my opinion. Only thing I don't like is that the mounting location does not sit flat on the rear fender, which makes me think the seat might be pulling up on the rear fender once the screw is installed. Installed it anyways, and no problems yet. Doesn't look as good as the stock seat but I still prefer it.

76157 is for the 3.3 gallon tank and leaves no gap.
76179 is for the 4.5 gallon tank and will leave a gap.
