4Great fit.... .

Bought this to prepare for a long ride, very easy to install, comes with good instructions, adjustable height and forward backward adjustments. Contours with my back, small enough to remove and put away

5This product was reasonably priced and gave me the back support relief I was looking for.
By Dennis O'Brien
Easy installation, easy to adjust, and gives me the back support that makes all rides, (short and long) comfortable. I am very satisfied.

5I under-estimated the benefit of the back rest! Recommended.

I looked at the HD brand and others as well. The HD brand is hard to disconnect because you have to work your fingers into the seat slot and push 2 buttons which release the seat. With the plug-in backrest, there is a small spring loaded pin that locks the seat in place. The pin is adjustable, so if you can make it as hard/easy to adjust and remove as you like. I give it a nice little pull and it slides right out of bracket and the backrest is off. This allows you to adjust its height as well. It took about 20 minutes for me to install. Make sure you do not drop the bracket nut or you may never retreive it again. Mine fell behind the battery box and was lodged between box and rear fender. A simple magnet extension reached it, but I can see where this could have been an issue. I took it out for about 700 miles on first trip and it was simply great. It made an incrediable difference in lower back comfort. I would recommend, especially at this price point. 2006 RD King Classic
