Best gun oil I've used

I started out oiling my 1911 with Hoppe's, but the oil didn't stand up to the shooting conditions. A buddy at the range suggested that I try Royal Purple, so I did. This stuff works very well and doesn't break down like lighter oils. I've had a bit better performance with Royal Purple compared to CLP, too. I can easily send 200 rounds down range without having to apply any more oil (I could probably do more, but I haven't shot any more than that on one trip), whereas Hoppe's needed some more application after about 100 rounds.

When your life depends on it! Royal Purple Gun Oil!

Had "fail to feed" issues with major gun oils on my SIG P938. Issue was caused by friction on barrel feed ramp. Other oils reduced issues down to 2 per 50 rounds....still unacceptable. Have not had a "fail to feed" issue after 15o rounds since using RP gun oil! Have used RP products in performance cars, fishing reels, and now guns. Outstanding!
