Great pipes. Sound great but not to loud. Louder than stock pipes and easy to install. I installed them myself following the directions. The hardest part was getting the old pipes off

Too dang quiet

These mufflers are exactly what I thought they would be except for the sound. I had Screaming Eagle mufflers on the bike before and they were a lot of fun. I bought the V&H four inch mufflers because I wanted louder and better sound. I can not hear them very well while seated on the bike (riding or not) which a disappointment. I like everything except the quietness of the mufflers. Had I known they had the "quiet" baffles in them I would have purchased elsewhere or asked for a change of baffles.

Please understand that I really like the appearance and fit of the mufflers and have no plans to replace them. If it weren't for my appreciation of loud pipes, these would be five star mufflers!

Slip-ons have a good deep sound, not offensive at inter-state speeds on a long ride. Bike sounds like a Harley should now.
