5Perfect, if it is what you need
By I. Hunter
I use G-05 in my '87 Mercedes and '92 Honda. There are at least three types of antifreeze, and before you buy, you need to know which chemistry is correct for your car. I recommend the antifreeze application chart which Zerex publishes:

[...]

If, in fact, your car needs G-05 chemistry, this stuff is probably what you want. $13 a gallon with free shipping is a fine deal.

You will also want a gallon of distilled water, available at your supermarket, to mix with the G-05 to get the correct freeze protection.

5Hard to find at brick and mortar stores...
By Paul M. Provencher
I read my owners manual and for my 2007 Jeep Commander Overland with 5.7L HEMI, it was clear that only an antifreeze/coolant that has HOAT composition would be appropriate for topping off the radiator - at least if I didn't want to ruin the anti-corrosion protection of the MOPAR original fluid, and have to completely flush the system later....

Be careful because in the stores the antifreeze/coolant bottles all claim that you can pour their stuff into "any" car, "any" color antifreeze/coolant. But the fine print says "only for short term topping up" and "must completely flush system and top up with fresh coolant" to preserve the anti-corrosion properties of the original fluid. So basically I read these and concluded that it was misleading.

This fluid is a correct replacement for the MOPAR fluid in my vehicle (2007 Jeep Commander Overland with 5.7L HEMI) and will not react with the existing fluid in the vehicle or compromise the long-term protection provided (100K miles between services).

I purchased a gallon of distilled water from a large retailer, and mixed up two gallons from this full strength gallon here. It was a slightly cheaper alternative to purchasing the pre-mixed 50/50 solution that is also offered. I made sure to tightly cap the two bottles and label them so they're not confused with windshield washer fluid or orange juice....

5Great price on coolant for my Mercedes
By John Tyler Williamson
I called several Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, and O'Reilly stores in my area and none of them carried this coolant that is required for my Mercedes C230. Great price and quick shipping with Prime here from Amazon.
